## Questions

### What is the difference between a static and a dynamic code?

A static code has the link built into the pattern, so it can never change. It is free on HueQR. A dynamic code points to a short link you control, so you can change where it goes after printing and see every scan. That needs Pro.

### How does the free trial work?

You get all of Pro for 7 days. Nothing is charged until day 8, and we email you 3 days before. Cancel in one click if it is not for you.

### What happens to my codes if I cancel?

They keep sending people to their last link for 14 days. After that they show a clean paused page until you come back. Keep-alive ($9 a month) keeps up to 10 codes live without editing.

### How does my own domain work?

Add a subdomain like scan.yourbrand.com, follow two DNS steps, and your codes use it. It is included in Pro at no extra cost.

### Do I need an account for a free code?

Not for PNG. The free generator runs in your browser: design, check it scans, download a PNG with no sign-up. SVG and PDF print files are free too, with a free account. No watermark either way.
